We know that you are ready for a change in the way you look and feel.  We know because we were eavesdropping on your conversation when you were outside talking to your best friend on the phone as we were running by.  So, we started thinking about ways to begin including our community (read: YOU) into our existing regimen of FUN (you probably call it a workout or exercise or something of the like but to us, if it ain’t FUN, then we wouldn’t be doing it).  So we came up with (drum roll, please) … The Wellness Tribe of Garden Hills!

The purpose of The Wellness Tribe of Garden Hills is to incite the residents of this community to take charge of the wellness for themselves and their families.  It is our intention to help combat the medical afflictions that run rampant in our under-served populations.  The problems of heart “dis-ease,” high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, heart attacks, asthma and stroke are abundant in our community.  Many (we contend that all) of these problems can be overcome or controlled with “Intentional Wellness” which includes physical activity (ISP – Intentional Sweat Plan/Party).

You don’t have to worry about being pushed to complete exhaustion.  The Wellness Tribe of Garden Hills has something for everyone.  What we have dubbed as an ISP (Intentional Sweat Plan/Party), is not your everyday, run-of-the-mill fitness routine.  You are guaranteed to have a good time!  No matter what age bracket or fitness level you fall into, you will be able to participate.  If you are just looking to walk from one end of the street to the other or begin training for that 5K run or marathon, your needs will be accommodated.  It is recommended by every physician in the world (at least the ones we checked with) that you get at least 30 minutes of “intentional” activity per day.  We have just what you need to get yourself up and out and get yourself fit.  We will also give you tips on how to continue “getting your fitness on” even when it’s rainy or cold outside.

We have predetermined routes of 1, 2, 3 or up to 6 miles at Our Online Training Group , or you can suggest an entirely different route (we’re pretty flexible and always up for a change of scenery).  So come on out and join us!  Start feeling and looking better than you have in a long time.  We are currently holding sessions at 6 a.m. Monday thru Friday with additions being made by request.
