Bang for the Buck :: Weight Loss Rewards

n10s

Generally speaking, body mechanics, biorhythms and physiology suggest that maximum cardiovascular and caloric burn benefits are achieved by training or IS’ing (Intentionally Sweating) after waking from a restful sleep and before eating.

Also, did you know that the digestion of fruits and vegetables is one of the most energy-intensive processes the body engages in when it metabolizes food?  So, technically (and practically) you could lose weight and inches just by eating “negative  calorie” foods.  Those foods most often fall into the fruit and vegetable categories.  Briefly explained, an example of a negative calorie food would be a grapefruit.  It has 35 calories.  The body expends 90 (kcal) of energy to digest and metabolize that grapefruit.  That means your body will have burned an extra 55 calories, just from eating this food.  No additional IS’ing required.  There’s more to that story and you can find further details here.

Specifically, we suggest that ONLY you really know what truly works for you.  Finding the right moment in your day, where you feel energized and empowered to take control of your FUN and therefore, your wellness might be a matter of experimentation.  Most importantly, don’t stress yourself about what’s NOT getting done.  RELAX, find the opportunity that suits your style.  Get into a “flo” and then be consistent.

Consistency trumps intensity … every time!  Tell me about your experiences and suggest what you’ve found that works or how we might better shape our program to assist what you’re already doing or would like to do.

Dream big … but … live bigger!
